Christmas Tags with the Silhouette Cameo 4

Hi all, my name is Sylvia Zondo, and I am part of the Doodles-Cafe team of papercraft designers, welcome to our blog post!

I’m a wife and a mother of 1 boy and 3 girls, and I just loves all things crafty.

Today I introduce our first Christmas Craft Blog Project for 2022 because, it is the time to be jolly! My family is crazy about Christmas time. We start as early as possible to decorate and prepare. I have found that Christmas tags are most of the time the last thing I do at Christmas, although it really tends to bring special meaning to the recipients.

Therefor I want to make them, personal, have fun and be festive while making them. Hastily cutting a piece of paper to write a name on, just doesn't cut it!

This year I’m intentional and organised. I am starting with personalised tags for family and friends. (and a few generic ones for random Christmas gifting). More than that, do you ever find that you have a mountain of cut-off papers that you just can’t bring yourself to throw away? This is the best way to preserve your scraps. Enough of that! Let’s begin.

The Silhouette Design Store has tons of pre-made Christmas designs that you can purchase and personalise, we are spoiled with choices. You can also easily design your own designs/projects, even in the Silhouette Studio's standard version, which is a great feature. Side note - you can also alternatively design in other of your favourite software as well, import them. Possibilities are endless!

In this project I combined my own designer together with pre-made projects I bought from Silhouette to get the look I desired.

In my care I mixed designed and bought projects to get the feel I wanted.
